Mrs 1537 put me in charge of making the icing and decorating the Christmas cake last night. Will she ever learn? it’s all about increasing the love here at 1537, how else were we going to be able to survive 2016.

Not this year. I think the two sets (basic plus Legends) suffice. I’d muttered about introducing the boy and his mates to D&D but not sure I will get there over the holidays.
Have you introduced him to the Fighting Fantasy books? they were always a good gateway drug, I thought. I think they’re still in print – if not, I have 3 crates of them under the bed in the spare room you can have.
