Streets Of Minneapolis

This is important. This is what music is for.

Now do something.

  1. Great song, have shared with my US work colleagues, thank you. I won’t visit on principle with Trump in either, and with a non-binary in my immediate family, that’s a double no. But appreciate it’s thousands of times worse for those Americans and their families questioning if they can even go back. And here you worry there’s some Reform sh*t taking notes who thinks anti-immigration policing with tear gas, military tactics, baton rounds and armoured vehicles is a good idea and a vote winner.

    1. I hear you and I couldn’t agree more. I find the denial of objective reality difficult to take. Do you game at all? Not to trivialise things at all, I’m playing a very good game on this very subject – the revision of reality, it’s very thought provoking.

  2. Love that Bruce blew the dust off his 60s Dylan songbook and simply wrote a contemporary facsimile. Outstanding.

As you said to Mike, if we were in Canada we’d be scared as fuck. As it is, I hope Aus join a Coalition of the (Mostly) Sane, or COMS.

    1. How appalling that you’re placed in that position as someone who has served your country. I always find that those who rant and rave the most about patriotism miss all the things that truly make their country special; and yours is a very special nation.

  3. They won’t let me into the US after they check my social media, so I’ll say it: F&^K ICE. The gestapo. The “just comply” crowd who did anything but, during Covid.

      1. I have a 6th sense for hypocrisy. And I will also add, as a Canadian it is scary as f^%k to observe the decline in our neighbor the US in the last quarter century. Now they just openly want to take us over.

      2. I get it. I would share that fear totally in your position. I rate Carney as a politician though, I think he’s a canny operator from what I see.

I think you should team up with Greenland, Mexico and Wales in the ultimate Avengers style supernation team.

      3. We got lucky with Carney. The alternative, who could have easily won, was Pierre Poilievre, who is Maple MAGA. It was very close. It’s still very close. Carney could topple and Pierre could hand us over. We’d lose our healthcare system, our water, our forests. It’s a razor’s edge.
