Some half-wit, who shall remain nameless here* missed out my favourite picture from yesterday’s feature length review of Exile On Main Street. Which is a particular shame in this instance as I like to use my pictures to break up the text a little and stop my reviews being a little too word heavy. So, I know it is asking for your indulgence but I have redone the entire review right here, which wasn’t easy. I can tell you. Note to future biographers: please be kind and miss this bit out please, unless you’re going for that whole ‘sometimes he was only human, just like us, but infinitely better’ angle.
Decadent.
866 Down (in the south of France).
*his/her name may rhyme with ‘gifteen Berty heaven’.
This flows my more cohesively now.
*much, lol
I’m the other 1/2 of the half-wit. Yeah I like the record.
Always love the piccies you post.
Ah! Now it all makes sense!
My favourite album ever.
Is there anything more rock & roll than diet yogurt(s)?
Love the slight return in the title too
A fact not lost on the Stones!
I didn’t think anything could make the original post any better. It turns out I was very, very wrong.
The great lost rock list.
It has been spoken of in hushed tones since ‘72, but seldom sighted. Some thought it was entirely mythical.
Not forgetting to refill bird feeders — very important.
It just adds to the subtext of my analysis. yesterday’s version of the review was just gibberish.
No apologies necessary Sir! I’ve been a certified member of the Half Wit club for about a quarter of an decade now!
In other news…
I was glad when I caught the Stones ‘Voodoo Lounge’ Tour that they played “Rocks Off” such a great number!
29 years since I saw him in action!
I saw the Steel Wheels tour and I can’t remember if they played ‘Tumbling Dice’ or not … I’m too old for all this memory stuff.
